Lord Horatio Herbert Kitchener Born September 22, 1850 Initiated 1883 Raised Died June 6, 1916 Lord Horatio Herbert Kitchener was born on September 22, 1850 near Ballylongford, Kerry, Ireland. Kitchener served as Sudan's Governor General in 1899, and from 1902-1909, served the country of India as Commander in Chief. Horatio Kitchener was Initiated at 1883 at La Concordia Lodge, in Cairo, UGLE. Brother Kitchener soon became a very active Freemason, and later became a member of Bulwer Lodge, No. 1068 in Cairo, Hellas Lodge No. 1105 in Cairo, Lodge of Edinburgh Mary's Chapel No. 1, Scottish Consitution, and Himalayan Brotherhood Lodge No. 459, in Simla, India. Brother Kitchener died on June 6, 1916. Owned & Operated Exclusively by Members of the Masonic Family
